Our best restaurant experience in Cartagena. Great service and delicious fish dishes. I had the shrimp ceviche with fresh mango. So good! And on top of that, it wasn’t very expensive compared to the other restaurant options in the city. I highly recommend.
MoreIt is an excellent opportunity to taste Caribbean Cuisine. Wonderful experience for natives and international “comensales”. The price is fair by considering quality of food. The service and staff they provide a warm welcome and they care of visitors.
MoreMy mother and I came here for lunch and it definitely hit the spot. Great portions and delicious. I really felt we were having homely dishes and the prices were more than reasonable. I delighted in a filet with coconut shavings, shrimp, coconut rice, and avocado. This is a must. I doubt you’ll find a terrible meal here.
MoreFantastic food - and amazingly presented, with friendly service. I highly recommend the fish of the day, and the ceviche, and the coconut rice is delicious.
MoreThe complimentary fish broth was excellent, everything else was nothing special at all. We were quite disappointed after after carefully choosing this place after reading tons of great reviews.
MoreThe service is good, but i ordered octopus and it took quiet long to prepare. The octopus was too hard like over cooked and slightly no taste. My plate was 32k. I think the price is a bit high with this quality.I want to give 3.5 star, but there is only 3 and 4.
MoreHad the frozen coconut lemonade, was so refreshing. They serve complementary fish soup before the meal, very good. We ordered the fried fish and it was amazing. 1 order was good for two. Opens at 11:30, come early, it start to get busy pretty fast.
MoreRecommended by our walking tour guide, but we also marked this one from some Google research done prior to our visit. Love that we can save locations on Google maps. My hubby can't eat shrimp so that cut our options, but we still had plenty of other options. He ordered the fillet de Limon made with Robalo (Sea Bass) and it was out of this world delicious... Side of purple potatoes, coconut rice and pesto. I ordered the lomo (skirt steak like). It was perfect with a chimichurre like sauce and Patacones. We absolutely devoured the meal. The starter was a complimentary fish soup, which was so yummy. Service a little slow, hence the 4 stars. Price was in the money. We paid approx $30.000 COP each with drinks, but would have easily been a +$50.000 COP meal per person.
MoreDelicious lunch with a great, simple vegetarian option! When we arrived around 1:30pm on a weekday the security guard said we would have to wait around 30 minutes, but then I’m not sure what happened and we got a table about 2 minutes later. Drinks were delicious, as was my husband’s fish and my vegetarian plate (beans, rice, plantain, avocado). Service was good although sometimes could be hard to get their attention. Highly recommended!
MoreWe ordered 4 dishes, mix of shrimps chicken and fish. In addition we had a few drinks. Everything was very well prepared, full of flavors and was very fresh. Excellent service though a bit cramped. Would recommend to anyone seafood lover
MoreCool restaurant with quirky decor popular with locals and tourists. Visited in the evening time and got a table pretty easily. Drinks were quick to come - got a michelada and coco lime - but food took a while to arrive. Be prepared to wait.
MoreAwesome foods served by kind employees. It was amazing. I enjoyed a lot.
Great food and good vibes. The fish soup that is served to welcome was a favorite and so was the ceviche.
MoreVery nice seafood at reasonable prices, ~30 mil for a mixed seafood plate. Try it!
MoreYummy. A little warm inside, but delicious local food for a great price. Come, eat + relax with an amazing fruit juice. Tucked away on an unassuming street with a very surprising security guard posted out front. The servers are some of the nicest girls ever. Get any dish with seafood. Pure deliciousness without being fancy.
MoreLimonada de coco and Mote de queso..... you have arrived in Paradise. Strongly recommended.
MoreGood food, but small card with only vies non-fish/-seafood options.
Excelente y a buen precio. Excellent place for local cuisine, full of satisfied tourists.
MoreWe had the fish fillet with coconut rice, coconut limeade and sauté prawns and everything was perfect. Cozy atmosphere with not too many tourist. Highly recommended
MoreWonderful place to eat a good variety of Colombian and Caribbean food
Very busy at lunchtime. Fifty-fifty mix of Colombians and foreigners. The special of the day was a delicious seafood cebiche. Great value. The menu is limited but everything sounds tempting. It is a tad warm inside and the wine is pricey but we enjoyed the place quite a lot overall.
MoreThe perfect meaning of tourist trap restaurant. Nothing good about the camaronas a la habanera... tasted similar as the coctel de Cameron. It was not expensive but I felt robbed with the quality of the food. Service really bad and slow. Do not recomend the place.
MoreI never usually write but this was a really bad experience:Cold rice, over cooked fish, warm old white wine.
MoreGood serviceFood is fairly goodOverall, not fully meet expectationsRestaurant is worth consideration
MorePrices are super decent, and the service was good! I think the portion size could be a little bigger. After my meal (that was delicious), I had to eat a little something else to feel full.
MoreRub elbows with Cartageneros while eating delicious, typical Colombian food!
The staff is nice the price is reasonable. But they over cook the fish and the seafood they give you just small amount
MoreIt has a great atmosphere, feels really nice to sit there. But the portions are really small and it's very expensive. The mint lemonade I had would have been good if it would not have been so ridiculously sweet. I expect more for that price.
MoreGood authentic food. Dishes are large so consider one main to share. You can order fresh fish here. We had the fillet which was really fresh and well cooked. Sadly the potato mash was too salty and the avocado was hard and bitter. They have a fantastic coco lemonade here. Prices are about 30k per dish.
MoreFood was very delicous. Get there early as they get very busy. Seafood and beef dishes were both very tasty. Mojito seemed to be 3/4 ice maybe stick to beer or other beverage.
MoreGreat food and very nice staff! They even gave us a free dessert to try the "yuka".
MoreNice seafood dishes in a pleasant location. Nice prices, superfast services. There is not a huge choice of dishes but definitely worth a visit while in Cartagéna.
MoreAbsolutely delicious. Don't fill up on the fried plantains. Make sure you try the seafood dishes at this place. And the fish soup is exceptional.
MoreOne of the best restaurant I've been to in Cartagena. The dishes are plentiful and at a good price. I recommend the Filete Marinero.
MoreA variety of local cuisine thats filled with flavour. Portions are generous and service was great the 2 times we visited. A complimentary seafood broth soup is a nice addition as well.
MoreThe menu is very small - staff is friendly and food came fast. Food was tasty but nothing too spectacular. There was this smell of fish when eating, probably coming from the kitchen...wouldn’t visit this place again.
MoreExcellent food and great atmosphere. I had the cóctel de camarones and my wife had the fried fish and both were excellent.
MoreIf you want good fresh fish this place does it right. Staying in Cartagena and looking for a dinner spot just to walk out my villa to see La Mulata. Had seen it on Google but didn't realize it was right in front of me. We decided to go in and try it, glad we did. The ceviche mixto was delicious. The complimentary fish soup was surprisingly good with flavors of cilantro. Mind you, I don't eat fish. I enjoy shellfish but never was big on fish other than sushi. I decided to order the fish, their famous dish. I said I'm out here and it's a fish spot, why not. It was a piece of fish fillet with shrimp calamari and a sauce on top. I was pleasantly surprised which how much I enjoyed it. It was the first time I ever ordered fish at a restaurant and first time I ate cooked fish in yearsss. Might have to start trying more fish but this delicous dish set a very high standard going forward. If you are in Cartagena and looking for a nice vibe and good food, try La Mulata.
MoreVery good Caribbean...great recommendation from my Airbnb host!
Loved the place. Good is really good but if you want the pescao frito you must wait. The wait is all worthy! I ordered the chicken and it was very good
MoreVery good option for lunch, if you like fish, you will love this place. They offer a fish soup to start your meal, be ready for generous portions (common in Colombia) and delicious coconut rice. A bit further from the other touristy options which felt good. Try the lemonada de coco, it’s the best I’ve had in my trip. You can eat indoor or they have a cute covered terrace at the back of the restaurants with plants. Service was also top notch!
MoreExcellent food! Good prices! Great service.
Heaps of flavour. Best coconut rice I had while in Cartagena. Ceviche fresh and yum. Seafood cooked perfect👌🏽 Layout a bit odd and lighting a bit harsh 😳 but nice staff who were accommodating and friendly.
MoreAmazing service. Cool ambiance in the outdoors part. Good fresh juices. The passion fruit was incredible. Food was just ok. All in all very good.
MoreLoved the seafood. And here we got introduced to lemonade de Coco. Amazing!
Had a delicious and very filling meal. I ordered limo fino and it was surprised how well seasoned it was. Frozen coconut lemonade was great. Very cute decor!
MoreIn this superb restaurant you can enjoy eating and laughing a lot with the people around of you also the waitress and waitresses are very friendly and Exceptional. The food is delicious with unique flavour and the last, it is cheaper for everyone. No doubt, try out your palate.
MoreFood is very good, and prices are ok (I mean it is in the city center of Cartagena, so it might be even good). Definitely go for the octopus, it was amazing!!The only thing is the atmosphere, which is a bit cold and the staff was a bit overwhelmed at times, but the overall experience was very good :)
MoreI had the Colombian pasta. Loved it. A lot of meat though.
The place seemed really popular. The food was good and the coconut lemonade was the best part. The place is a little small and I didn't like the layout
